Te Mātahi o te Tau

This is our newest waiata that we wrote to celebrate the first Matariki day public holiday here in Aotearoa. It’s a simple but catchy song to help teach tamariki how they can celebrate Matariki with their friends and whānau through the use of three kupu, Whakamaumahara (Remember), Whakanui (Celebrate) and Whakariterite (Prepare)

This lyric video was created in collaboration with Sparkers NZ, Tākai and Great Scott Communication.

The song will be available on all our digital platforms from Friday 17th June, 2022.
