Te Mātahi o te Tau

This waiata was written and released in 2022, in honour of the first Matariki public holiday, here in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

It’s a simple, catchy song to help teach tamariki how they can celebrate Matariki with their friends and whānau through the use of three kupu/words:

Whakamaumahara (Remember) | Whakanui (Celebrate) | Whakariterite (Prepare)
